Application Support - Three Possibilities

1. Customer invokes "Recipe Generation 

    Wizard" analysis software of the n&k system

 

a. The Wizard is a proprietary program  

    embedded within n&k Analyzer software, 

    whereby the end-user can characterize 

    "unknown" films, and add them to the 

    system's library, with little or no advance 

    information regarding the film properties

b. The calculation typically takes a few 

    minutes to complete 

c. This gives the user the capability to 

    develop new recipes for materials that 

    cannot be analyzed by the existing library 

    without  involving a third party

 

2. Customer collects raw data (reflectance vs. 

    wavelength 190 - 1000 nm (and 

    transmittance vs. wavelength 190 - 1000 nm 

    for n&k RT systems) and e-mails it to n&k 

    for  analysis and/or recipe development

 

a. Data will be analyzed by a member of 

    n&k's technical staff and results will be   

    e-mailed back, formatted for customer's  

    n&k system, within a few days, on 

    average

 

3. Customer sends samples to n&k for analysis 

    and/or recipe development


a. Data will be analyzed by a member of 

    n&k's technical staff and results will be 

    provided to customer, formatted for 

    customer's n&k system, within a few 

    days,  on average
